Course Description

The Practical Neuroradiology: Excellence in Action conference is designed to provide valuable insights, practical knowledge, and awareness of advancements in neuroradiology to enhance the expertise and skills of participants. Attendees will delve into a wide range of prevalent brain, head/neck, and spine disorders to deepen their understanding of neuroradiology through clinically focused presentations and active participation in interactive case-based imaging reviews. At this meeting, participants will enjoy a rewarding learning experience and enhance their skills in the field of neuroradiology.

Intended Audience

Practical Neuroradiology: Excellence in Action is designed for the practicing radiologist whose work involves neuroradiology, and professionals in the neuroradiological sciences, neurosurgery, neurology, and related fields.

Course Learning Objectives

Upon conclusion of this program, participants should be able to:

• Describe the anatomy and pathological conditions of the lower cranial nerves
• Discuss metabolic white matter disease in adults
• Review acute traumatic and non-traumatic ENT emergencies
• Discuss the role of imaging in localizing spinal cerebrospinal fluid leaks
• Identify causes of pathology involving the larynx and hypopharynx
• Discuss structural abnormalities in patients with epilepsy
• Discuss updates in adult spinal trauma
• Describe the benefits of imaging at 7T
• Review the imaging evaluation of intracranial gliomas
• Summarize the evidence for stroke imaging
• Discuss skull base neoplasms
