The art installation in Atmosphere will activate participants directly through a combination of tactile, audible, and visual senses. Inspired by clouds, wind, light, and rain, this work connects various forms of sensor technology with a variety of textured materials in the space. From plush yarn crocheted to form large life-size wall panels, to bumpy metal screens molded into blob-like shapes, to a hanging forest of sheer tulle fabric, participants are invited to physically engage with the work and, as a result, shape the world itself.
