PAST Fri 22nd Feb: Indie Post Rock feat: Leisure Tank, Marine & Blue Statue

Join us on Friday 22nd Feb for a night of Indie Post Rock with 3 awesome bands from London. Headed up by the indie rock power duo Leisure Tank! Celebrating the debut album, Fable Electric by Marine! Losing ourselves in Blue Statue's latest post punk self titled EP! FREE ENTRY. Doors from 6pm. Leisure Tank Influenced by alternative, independent and analogue rock music of the last 50 years, Leisure Tank create raw, minimalistic rock with unpredictable song structures and heavy, danceable grooves. K.C.’s voice and poetical lyrics have been compared to early PJ Harvey, Anna Calvi and Leslie Feist. https://www.facebook.com/leisuretank/ Marine ‘Fable Electric' is an album that brims with wonder and bridges the gaps between spectral pop, dreamy grunge and psychedelic rock, whilst lyrically exploring ancient tales of mythology and dreams. Since forming in 2014, the band - made up of Cara Sebastian (Vocals & Guitar), Beth Dariti (Bass) and Kaja Magsam (Drums) - have been running their own show in their own way, touring across Europe and the UK and quickly building a cult following, whilst racking up support from tastemakers at BBC 6 Music and across the blogosphere. https://www.facebook.com/wearemarinemarine/ Blue Statue Is an alt-indie/Post-Punk band based in north London. Consisting of brothers Hayden and Aaron Brown (songwriters, guitars and lead vocals), João Cardoso (drums) and Ben Jasper (bass), Blue Statue is amongst the most exciting new bands on the London rock scene today. Blue Statue's sound fuses the noisier side of indie with the grungier side of punk to produce banging songs with driving rhythms, thunderous riffs and earworm choruses. https://www.facebook.com/bluestatuemusic/ We are 2 minutes from London Bridge station. See you at the bar!
