About this event

The program was designed by mental health clinicians with PATH International and EAGALA training and certifications, along with volunteers. This 5-week EAAL(Equine Assisted Activities and Learning) group allows Veterans to explore and experience their personal growth and development through equine-assisted activities. Research has shown the many benefits of Equine Assisted Activities, Learning and Therapies including both mental and physical benefits to individuals.

Being with and working with horses can provide veterans numerous opportunities for self-growth, insight, personal development, improved self-esteem and self-image, building confidence, and relief of, and management of, daily stressors and emotions. This group aims to touch on these areas as well as introduce members to the unique horse-human relationship and basic horsemanship skills.

The program is made up of 5 consecutive sessions. The ticket price for this program is $150. This covers the cost of all 5 sessions. The dates of these sessions are:

Sunday, September 8 , 5:30 - 7:30 pm

Sunday, September 15, 5:30 - 7:30 pm

Sunday, September 22, 5:30 - 7:30 pm

Sunday September 29, 5:30 - 7:30 pm

Sunday October 6, 5:30 - 7:30 pm
