Friends of Tellico Village Library

Tellico Voices will provide a benefit concert, proceeds to help fund the library. Tickets are available at the library circulation desk. There is no charge for tickets, but there is limited seating at the concert. Donations will be accepted at the concert. Proceeds go to support library operations and facility maintenance costs.

Our third year for this popular event, October 29 – pick up clues at 9:30 am, Library Courtyard. Participants will be sent to various points in the Village and will be challenged to identify clues to book titles. Prize is a wine tasting for up to 20 persons offered by Total Wine and Spirits.

4B’s: BBQ, Band, Beer, & Books. This is our main annual fundraiser for the Library. It will be held on October 1st at 4:00 PM at the Library. We will be featuring Buddy’s Barbecue; the Band, Early Bird Special; Beer, and three free Books to each guest.

Tickets go on sale September 1st on our website and at the Library - $40 for Friends and $50 for Others.

Tuesday, September 13 will be our final tea for the year with the theme “FALL”. It will be held at the Library Courtyard at 3:00 pm with a 3 course menu, trivia games and door prizes.

Tickets go on sale August 15 at the Library website and the Library - $30 for Friends, $35 for Others.

Gary Mulliner will lead a group on an historic hike through the Kahite neighborhood. This 2.5 mile trek will begin at 8:00 am and last for approximately 2 hours. We will learn about the earlier inhabitants of the area, those who preceded Cooper Homes. Hike is limited to 30 people. The group will meet at 8:00am at the parking lot next to the Kahite tennis courts, close to the clubhouse. Advise Participants should bring water.

Cost is $10 Friends, $15 for Others. Tickets are only available here on the website.
