Upcoming Auditions

WE ARE CASTING OPEN ROLES FOR THE PROM on MAY 13 & 14!!

The RTB is thrilled to be remounting this production, long delayed by construction, with a talented returning cast and are seeking fresh faces to complete the team! For this inclusive, boundary-challenging, thought-provoking, incredibly timely, contemporary musical comedy, the production team seek a diverse, open-minded, and honest cast of performers. Members of the LGBTQ+ community are strongly encouraged to audition.

AUDITIONS: Monday, May 13th & Tuesday, May 14th at 7:30pm (Callbacks Thursday, May 16th at 7:30pm)

WHAT TO PREPARE: Please prepare 32 measures of a song, and be ready to dance (bring comfortable clothes)!

PERFORMANCES IN SEPTEMBER: The Prom runs Friday & Saturday evenings, Sept 6 – Sept 28 at 8:00pm, with Sunday performances on Sept 15 and 22 at 5:00pm.

REHEARSALS: Rehearsals will begin the end of June (week of 17th or 24th).

OPEN ROLES

Alyssa Greene (18+): Popular student challenging outdated social boundaries. Strong vocals and solid stage presence.

Mrs. Greene (18+): Alyssa’s conservative mother with a hidden arc. Requires dramatic depth.

Sheldon/Shelly Saperstein (18+): Quirky, lovable theater superfan. Comedic and character-driven.

Kevin (18+): a jock at school and Shelby’s boyfriend. Nick’s right hand & the class clown.

Adult Ensemble (18+): Get ready to transform! This ensemble brings the heart and humor of small-town life with plenty of dynamic roles.

Student Ensemble (18+): Be the voice of the next generation! Showcase your energy and singing talent as the high school students at the center of the drama.
