Most of us don’t have a lot of practice talking about the thing we all have in common – our death.

We know that death and dying are tender subjects.

As a society we’ve excelled at avoiding discussions about dying and mortality. By the time we become comfortable enough, it’s often too late for meaningful conversations.

That’s where the Pre-Dead Social Club comes in! We create events to meet you where you are at, create opportunities for you to lean in, get curious and discuss the things that matter most as we all face our eventual end-of-life.

We hope one or some of the events below pique your interest and you’ll consider joining us in the near future.

The Pre-Dead Social Club will host "We Wish We Knew That!" - Insights and Ideas for Saying What Matters, When it Matters Most for Better Care. Attendees will be part of a thought-provoking roundtable discussion between healthcare professionals and caregivers about the roles we all play when it comes to our health and receiving the care we want, particularly when faced with a life limiting or terminal diagnosis.

During this event, real-life stories and personal insights revealed by both caregivers and members of the healthcare community will illuminate the things they wish they had known during healthcare conversations. They will also share suggestions to inspire and encourage each of us to take an active role in our own care coordination and explore strategies for having meaningful and clear discussions about our health and what is important to us.
