Village Location

Event village in situated in Henley Showground, Hambleden, Henley-on-Thames, RG9 3AS

On arrival to the site please follow the event signage.

Race Pack Collection

Your timing chip, bib number and bike/helmet stickers will be available for collection on the event day from 06:00am.  These will be ready for you to collect from Registration Tent, which will be located between the river and transition.

 

Depending on the event discipline you are competing in, you will be supplied with the following:

·      timing chip (to be worn on your left ankle);

·      bib number;

·      bike and helmet stickers;

·      swim hat.

Participants should not expect to receive anything by mail.

Registration on the day might be available.

Transition area

Transition area opens at 06:00am. To enter transition, you must show your corresponding event number and bike sticker (which must be stuck to your seat post) to the event marshal.

The Route

All swim, bike and run courses are marked with signs and well marshalled.

The course map will be available to view once route is confirmed. 

Based on the distance you are completing you will be required to do a particular number of laps at each leg.

Pre-Race Email

Detailed pre-race information will be published to all registered participants 2 weeks prior to the event.

FACILITIES

Medical Cover

Suitable medical cover is provided at our events in case of a medical emergency.

Bag Drop

There will be NO bag drop on the day. Please leave belongings that you don’t need in the transition area or in your car.

Catering

We will have a food caterer onsite for pre and post race refreshments.

Photography

Event images are expected to be available, usually within 24 hours of the event.

Toilets

There are free portable toilets in the event village. This is your only chance to go, as there won't be toilets on the route.

Changing Room / Showers

There are no dedicated changing rooms/showers.

Water / Snack Stations

Water will be available at the start and finish, and there will be a water station on the run route.
There will be a water station on the bike course with water available for refilling your own water bottles only, should you need to. This will be self service.

OTHER USEFUL INFORMATION

Spectators

Spectators are permitted anywhere in the start finish area. Please be mindful of others' comfort and safety in more popular locations, including the finish area.

Dogs

Participants must not be accompanied by a personally owned or controlled dog during an event. Entries may be accepted from participants with medical assistance dogs, subject to them being correctly registered and identifiable as such, and subject to prior approval by the Event Director.

Buggies, Pushchairs and Strollers

This event is not suitable for buggies, pushchairs, strollers (or similar) due to the nature of the terrain.

Wheelchairs

This event is not suitable for wheelchair users due to the nature of the event.

Earphones / Headphones

Noise-cancelling earphones/headphones are prohibited and, whilst we discourage the use of other earphones/headphones at our events, participants choosing to use them should ensure they are set to a low enough volume that instructions from event officials can be clearly understood. 

Race Deferrals

Race deferrals are allowed until the event registration is closed (usually the Friday 12noon before the event date).
