MOUNTAINEER BREWFEST REACHES $211,000 WITH 2023 DONATION

The Mountaineer Brewfest Board and Committee is proud to announce that in nine years they have donated over $211,000 to local charities through festival proceeds and matching tips generated by the Circus Saints & Sinners.

“This doesn’t happen by chance, this takes the support and investment of sponsors, volunteers, patrons, local government, committee members, and more to achieve this.” said Mountaineer Brewfest founder and president Jeff Hayes. “It takes the support from an organization like the Circus Saints and Sinners who strive to help those in need and have been instrumental in generating additional funds beyond the festival proceeds to add to our charity donations each year. It also takes pride in continually putting on one of the best festivals in Wheeling and a festival that is recognized around West Virginia for what we do for our local charities. We are grateful and humbled by this achievement and look forward to continuing to help our local charities in the coming years.”

Mountaineer Brewfest Sponsored Charities: 2014 - Wheeling Health Right, 2015 - Harmony House, 2016 - St. John’s Home for Children, 2017 - Habitat for Humanity – Wheeling, 2018 - The Upper Ohio Valley Sexual Assault Help Center, 2019 - Augusta Levy Learning Center, 2021 - A Special Wish Foundation – Ohio Valley Chapter, 2022 – the Seeing Hand Association, 2023 - Family Service - Upper Ohio Valley!
