The Mayo Clinic Leadership and Professional Development course is focused on strategies, healthcare business trends, literature, and testimonials on the transformational change of NP and PA utilization in leadership, education, research, innovation, and professional development. Topics will address learners of all career stages on insights and organizational models to cultivate a culture of career growth.

Target Audience
This course is designed for Physician Assistants, Nurse Practitioners, Nurses, Physicians, and Allied Health Professionals.
Learning Objectives
Upon completion of this activity, participants should be able to:
- Identify strategies to support the professional development of NP and PAs.
- Explain traits required to be a good leader
- Develop a blueprint for expanding academic involvement
- Construct a cohesive organizational structure with a clear vision and mission.
- Describe methods to increase ones social media presence
- Recognize successful steps required to advance in leadership
- Identify traits required to be a good mentor
- Develop a plan for coaching employees
