Line Up

Olive Haigh is a British singer-songwriter and auto-harpist. Her hauntingly powerful music is beguiling, arresting and completely unique. Having co-founded (with cellist Charlotte Jaffer and singer Chaz Easingwood) the ghost-folk band Girls Cry Wolf, Olive embarked on a solo career. She began to write dark folk songs inspired by the gothic portraits she was immersed in creating as part of her undergraduate degree and, in 2014, released the experimental EP Monsters with producer Arthur Cunnington. She went on to release a series of acclaimed singles such as Pebble People and Secret Cupboard Waltz. Over recent years, Olive has supported Michael Chapman and Neil Halstead, and has toured the South West - playing everywhere from The Arts House Cafe and The Old Bookshop in Bristol to Boardmasters, The Poly (Falmouth) and Port Eliot. Her brilliant new single Emma was released a few days ago and her next EP will be produced by the legendary producer Charlie Francis (High Llamas, R.E.M.) and is due for release in spring/summer 2019.

Mali Mae is a 19 year old musician from Northamptonshire. Her music is a fusion of folk, rock and pop and her song-writing mainly focuses around the trails and tribulations of growing up. This is expressed clearly in her debut album ‘Personal’ which is available for purchase, or streaming, on any main stream music site. She hopes that her music is widely relatable and that her song writing leaves enough space for interpretation in order to allow her audience to connect with her music on a more personal level.

Recently described by Spill Magazine as 'perhaps the greatest undiscovered talent today', Henry Bateman’s music falls somewhere between the worlds of ambient, progressive rock and folk musics; somewhere between Peter Gabriel, Neil Finn and James Taylor, with a virtuoso acoustic guitar style reminiscent of the likes of Nick Drake and Michael Hedges. He’s doing his own thing; at the age of just 22, he's just released his third solo album ‘Hide & Seek’ to high critical acclaim. In 2018, Henry graduated from the UK’s largest and most burgeoning music conservatoire, Leeds College of Music, with a First Class Honours Degree in Popular Music Composition. It was here he was also awarded the Conservatoire Prize for Popular Music in 2017, and for Songwriting in 2018.

Josh McGovern’s song writing is an arresting blend of poetic lyricism and powerful musicality, daydreaming Americana and haunting folk sensibilities. The results are beautifully enticing songs of eerie intimacy as found in his two highly acclaimed singles ‘The Devil Below Me’ and ‘Love Left Lost’.

Having grown up listening to artists such as Johnny Cash, Joni Mitchell and Neil Young, McGovern was drawn to writing deeply moving and easily connectable songs, and by studying the melodic attributes of these luminaries, developed his beautiful style of song writing.

Born and raised in London, Bradley Aaron embarked on his musical journey after first being accepted into The BRIT School for Performing Arts in Croydon in 2012. Since graduating in 2016 he has gone on to perform in venues across London and now studies music at the University of Surrey. It is here he met with his friend, co-creator and pianist Nick Wyatt. Together they have made and continue to make music that wins over the hearts of their audiences. After a year-long performing hiatus, Bradley Aaron is back with his debut single ‘Look at Me, You’re Free’ and is now organising gigs to showcase new material across London and beyond.
