Tauheedah Pearson was a former volunteer and worker at the Salvation Army in Bethlehem, PA. Tauheedah also helped start the drop-in center in Bethlehem. The center was focused on providing people
with mental disabilities a place to go and thrive. Tauheedah will be lovingly remembered as a warm hearted, loving, young lady. Her life was cut short due to Colon Cancer. She was diagnosed in 2016. Tauheedah Pearson, 39, passed away on March 12, 2020.
Our Mission
Our mission is to make sure every person with a mental disability is treated equally and fairly. When one cannot advocate for themselves, we will find someone to advocate for them. Medical care is important and for those with mental disabilities it can be overwhelming. The lack of education and resources are not made available to those who have mental disabilities. Our mission is to lead, explain, and assist those who cannot do it for themselves. Caring and loving every human being regardless of race, creed, or color was Tauheedah's mission, and we want to continue to live by her model and reach those in need.
Our Goal
Our goal is to provide resources to those with mental disabilities and a place for them to thrive. Providing a safe and nurturing environment helps one to understand what they are experiencing along with reaching their full potential.
