Impact Factory has worked with international music production company Kobalt Music over a number of years. Kobalt came to Impact Factory as their team were struggling to prioritise tasks, dedicate time to more strategic work and communicate remotely across the world. Our team developed and delivered tailored Line Management and Time Management programmes that were very practical and great fun, matching Kobalt’s open and diverse culture. Impact Factory has trained 53 Kobalt Managers over the course of 5 bespoke, highly interactive and practical Learning and Development sessions focused on time and line management, delegation, and giving feedback. Roche ‘s Innovation and Change Manager, Emma Lambert was tasked with bringing together a new team to support key change initiatives across the company. She contacted Impact Factory to see if we might help support her in this new initiative. In a recent study undertaken to understand the struggles of D/deaf people in the workplace, 63% reported they had not been given equal opportunities at work. A further 83% said they felt excluded from conversations with colleagues, and 59% had been left out of social events. There can be barriers to employment for D/deaf and hard of hearing people before they enter the workplace. There are many ways employers can understand and improve disability recruitment practices.
