Beer Mile

Open to ages 21+.

The Barley Naked Beer Mile has been canceled

Unfortunately we lost the use of our race venue and must cancel the event. We are disappointed and apologize for any inconvenience caused by the cancelation. The cancelation came at a terrible time for the event as all awards, shirts, & bibs had already been purchased.

Any donations made during registration will be passed on directly to Fairy Godmother Project.

We have provided several options for registered participants. The deadline to make a selection is October 14th.

Here Are Your Options:

We will transfer your registration to the FredNats 5k on November 6th. You can read more about the FredNats 5k here: FredNats Salute to Veterans 5k

We look forward to having you join us at this alternate event. There is also a 1 mile option associated with this event, please email beermile@runfarc.com if you prefer to run the mile.

You may also pick-up your Beer Mile shirt at Oktoberfest if you would like. Thanks for your patience!

You understand that events are expensive, even when cancelled, and you want us to keep your registration fees to help cover our costs.
We will be at Barley Naked's Oktoberfest on Saturday October 15th to hand out shirts, bibs, and a free beer ticket courtesy of Barley Naked for those who choose this option.

We deeply appreciate your generosity and look forward to seeing you at an event soon.

We understand. We hope you can join us next time.

Refunds will be processed in bulk next week.

A Beer What?

There are actually "professional" beer mile competitors. This video gives you a general idea of what a beer mile looks like... these guys are just much more serious about it.

Course

The Beer Mile will consist of 4 quarter mile laps. Runners drink their first beer then they will exit the Start Area and head north. The course will loop around the parking island and return to the start area. Then drink/run 3 more times to complete the race.
